This leading Global Creative Studio is now looking for an experienced Account Director for a fast-growth account that has needed to scale quickly across the globe.
The team are responsible for creating a wide and diverse range of global, omnichannel, through-the-line content and creative for two of the world's biggest brands. (Technology/ Thought Leadership & Entertainment).
You will be experienced in working with global brands and up to speed with the ever-changing media landscape, and the burgeoning role of content.
Experience in working on cross-channel campaigns/projects will be expected.
You will also be enthusiastic, motivated and be able to thrive – and stay calm – under pressure.
Account/Client:
They work with a range of the client's marketing departments across the globe.
This role will be particularly focused on working with the US B2B teams working across multi-disciplinary projects, including thought-leadership, film, social and long-form content.
Key Tasks & Responsibility
Client Services
- Oversee all aspects of the running of the accounts and be the linchpin between the agency and client.
- Manage senior client contacts, and ensure that the management team are kept abreast of their upcoming marketing plans
- Ensure regular client communication and contact; emails, conference calls and face-to-face meetings (when applicable)
- Build on the positive and professional relationships with the existing clients and identify new ways to strengthen these further
- Identify new opportunities within the marketing team to help grow the business
Team
- Ensure there is cooperation and clear communication between all team members.
- Ensure the team is clear on briefs and help them deliver best-in-class creative.
- Work with the Project and Resource Management team to develop working schedules for the projects and to allocate appropriate resource based on these schedules.
- Ensure the correct and up-to-date resourcing on all projects and work with AM/PM to allocate resource effectively for the whole account.
- Work with the Account and Project Management teams to ensure there is an understanding of each project’s scope-of-work, schedule and deliverables.
Finance
- Working with the senior creative and strategic team to ensure the account continues to grow at the expected contribution/compensation ratio
- Create accurate quotes and budgets for ad hoc projects and ensure these are reconciled once the job has been completed
- Responsible for the profitability of each project, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget, identifying where efficiencies can be made across workstreams
- Manage billing processes and supplier invoicing
- Review and assess project retainers to ensure they are accurate and fair
