For their long-standing global Automotive client account, this leading creative studio produces content that fuels all channels in several markets in 5 different languages.
About the role
They are looking for a talented and versatile Art Director to join this growing, global account.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience working as an Art Director creating content for large brands, preferably with experience in the Automotive sector.
They will be experienced across a range of media, from short-form, social, digital and designing for websites to storytelling in customer magazines and brand films. With relevant experience in editorial design, you will need to show creative flair, enthusiasm, initiative and be a good team player.
Key responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of projects from concepting, through to final production and delivery
- Generating ideas for features (print and digital), social and video content
- Concepting and storyboarding short films
- Ensuring high standard of design and finish across all output
- Ensuring the art team delivers content that is on-brand, on time and on budget
- Managing the day-to-day running of the art team, including freelancers
- Finding and commissioning photographers, filmmakers and content-creators
across the globe
- Art Directing stills and film shoots
- Working with the Creative Director on additional projects outside the normal scope of work
- Contributing to pitches by generating ideas, working on concepts and presentations.
Qualifications and experience:
- Strong experience as an Art Director
- Have a thorough understanding of digital and social content, multi-platform distribution, trans-creation/localisation, and social toolkits etc
- Managing team members
- Editorial experience across digital and print formats
- Experience in a client-facing role, being part of the team presenting ideas and creative
- Confident in creating presentations that tell a compelling story and show the strategy/work to best effect
- WordPress CMS understanding is advantageous.
Skills and knowledge:
- Proven ability to create thoughtful and engaging content
- Ability to work collaboratively in a creative environment
- Ability to write concise briefs for contributors
- Diligent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Accomplished in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop
- Experience creating presentations in Google Slides is advantageous
- A full, clean driving license is also an asset.
