Digital Editor - Global Creative Agency (in-house Studio) - Automotive - London

Content. Advertising. Branded programming. All true stories. This integrated creative agency creates a wide and diverse range of integrated, through-the-line creative content globally for two of the world’s biggest automotive brands.

About the role

The agency is looking for an experienced Digital Editor to work across a mix of digital and print publishing alongside multi-channel campaigns.

They are looking for someone with a strong editorial background, a nose for a story, a strategic way of thinking and experience working with global brands.

This is a fast-paced account and would suit someone who is looking for an exciting creative challenge. Your experience and portfolio must demonstrate your ability to write and edit copy across a variety of channels, from snackable social posts to long-form site articles. Any professional experience in automotive would be a definite plus. But the same goes for raw passion. 

They are looking for someone who:

  • Has an impressive body of work writing for global brands
  • Has a watertight ability to write and edit a wide variety of content, including articles, narrative decks and social media posts
  • Thinks strategically and has experience writing copy that ladders up to overarching brand strategies and messaging
  • Can craft a story in a deck in a way that’s presentable, clear and compelling
  • Has an immaculate eye for detail and is comfortable immersing themselves in complex topics to bring them to life
  • Has journalistic and/or agency experience. This could be at a creative agency, content agency, ad agency, publisher, etc.
  • Stays abreast of industry trends, pop culture, social media updates, software and programs to continuously enhance and develop the digital offering
  • Actively promotes visibility to a wider audience through SEO, social media updates, blogs and experienced in utilising CMS systems
  • Creates detailed analysis with planning via GA and social agencies to report findings to clients and offer recommendations based on those findings
  • Maintains Instagram, Facebook and Twitter profiles and stays abreast of all content posted by markets
