This leading global creative social & content agency is looking for a Freelance Social Content Director.
For their global Tech client, they are responsible for creating a wide and diverse range of social-first, global, omnichannel content and creative for two of the world’s biggest brands – predominantly US-based.
They are looking for a social content director who is as comfortable dreaming up creative ideas as they are getting into the detail of what works – and why – on different platforms.
You’ll be excited to jump right into working with their social team, where you’ll step into a senior role covering:
● Leading on integrated omnichannel social campaigns tied to hero moments and events AND on BAU / always-on asks.
● Owning RTBs (response to briefs) – this will include leading social creative and editorial ideation.
● Social strategy – developing responses to exciting business challenges identified by the social strategy team.
● Always-on social – supporting with day-to-day creative and editorial direction and overseeing content creation by the team as required (includes signing off work)
Your experience and portfolio of work must demonstrate your ability to think strategically and to lead teams to bring out their best and deliver outstanding social campaigns, creative, and editorial, on time and on budget.
Your Profile:
● Experience working on social campaigns for large brands, including creative ideas and concepting as well as copywriting and editing.
● Has an impressive, creatively broad body of work (and the results to show for it) for global brands (tech brand experience is a bonus but not a requirement) across a range of social platforms.
● Has experience with always-on social aimed at both B2B and consumer audiences – this should include running social for events and moments.
● Lives and breathes social and is always up to date with the latest trends, platforms, and functionality
● Is experienced with B2B platforms – especially LinkedIn – and TOV. Experience with the marketing/advertising audience a plus.
● Is experienced working across both organic and paid social, and is comfortable partnering with media agencies as required.
● Is experienced in audience development and in using insights from community management and reporting data to shape and push creative ideas.
● Is an idea’s person who thrives on pushing the creative responses to briefs and spotting opportunities to proactively pitch ideas big and small.
● Is comfortable getting ‘in the weeds’ of briefs and projects and can step in to support with copywriting, editing, and art direction as required.
● Has a minimum of 5 years experience working in influential social roles, including leading brand accounts across both always-on and campaigns/events.
● Is comfortable with a fast-paced environment, tight deadlines and challenging briefs.
