Senior Creative Copywriter - Independent Creative Agency - London

This is a standout role for a conceptually strong, craft-obsessed creative (copy background) who can think big and write beautifully.

This is for a copywriter who wants to shape the thinking, define the work, and raise the bar across everything.

An independent creative agency is looking for a Senior Copywriter to play a central role across its client portfolio — working on multiple global brands, multiple channels, and multiple types of creative output.

The Role:

You’ll sit at the heart of the creative team — partnering closely with Creative Directors, Strategists, Designers and Producers to bring ideas to life from start to finish.

Across clients, across briefs, across formats.

One day, you might be building a campaign platform or ATL idea. The next, writing a film script, shaping a brand narrative, or crafting a launch toolkit.

No silos. No repetition. Just a proper creative range.

This role is about range, taste, and consistency under pressure.

  • Conceptual strength – someone who can originate big ideas, not just execute them
  • Exceptional writing craft – from sharp headlines to long-form storytelling
  • Multi-channel thinking – campaigns that live across paid, owned and earned, not just one format
  • Tone of voice ownership – able to flex between brands while keeping everything sharp and cohesive
  • Narrative instinct – shaping stories across film, content and brand platforms
  • Presentation confidence – able to sell ideas clearly, internally and to clients

You’ll be expected to lead creative responses, not wait for direction.

  • You’ll be working across multiple clients simultaneously — switching gears quickly without dropping quality
  • You’ll be involved from brief through to delivery, not just the idea stage
  • You’ll collaborate closely with art direction, motion, production and strategy
  • You’ll help shape the output of the agency, not just contribute to it
  • You’ll be trusted to own rooms, sell work, and push standards

About You

  • Strong background in a copy-led creative role (agency or brand side)
  • A portfolio that shows big thinking and sharp execution
  • Experience working on high-profile, consumer-facing campaigns
  • Comfortable operating across B2C and B2B storytelling
  • Obsessive attention to detail — nothing leaves your desk half-finished
  • Collaborative, low ego, and driven by the work over everything else
