This leading global social & content agency is now looking to appoint a Head of Social Strategy.
You will most probably be a pure play social specialist but could have spent time client side, platform side or consumer media side, as well as in agencies
You'll have a good grasp of social listening and data analytics as you'll be responsible for this.
This will be a small department day 1 so they need a do-er as much as a leader who is comfortable getting into details and doing the work.
They need someone who can pitch well and win pitches. Credible, convincing, compelling. A reputation for winning/growing clients. Being able to pitch as part of a larger group team is also important.
Platform knowledge is key, and connections/contacts at platforms are a definite bonus
They need a teacher, not a wizard. They want a big social brain but also need a front-of-house leader—someone who is willing to form part of a small leadership team and help build a team/division into an agency.
As well as deep insights into long-term brand building in social they need good commercial sense, a deep contact book of people to work with and an entrepreneurial mindset.
