An exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Lead to join this BAFTA and EMMY award winning creative agency.
To lead their social team and work with the wider team to continually develop and improve the creative output, lead multiple client accounts and implement exciting campaigns.
You will report to the Managing Director of their London office, the Global Head of Social based in New York and work collaboratively with the Head of Creative.
About You
You’ll be hugely creative and highly knowledgeable in the digital and social space – the first to know about breaking news, trends and social viral moments.
You combine visual and verbal creativity and experience with a get-it-done attitude and stay organised and calm under pressure.
You’ll have strong opinions on social strategy and creative, with the knowledge and experience to create great work that puts audiences first. Great at developing and managing the team underneath you and not precious about giving credit to those you are leading.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the team in creative and strategy across multiple social-led client projects, campaigns, and strategies, developing the approach where appropriate.
Build on relationships with social platforms.
Inspire and inform your team (and the wider agency team) with new creative social content, methods and techniques. Have in-depth knowledge of social channels, keeping up to date with the latest trends.
Work closely with the Head of Creative in London to manage the workflow and relationship between your teams. Day to day the Social team will do creative and the Creative team will do social – so whilst there is crossover, the teams will lead the projects that best fit their skillsets.
Work with the social strategists, inspiring them with best practices to manage their teams in channel management: including publishing and community management.
Client management and escalation point: overseeing multiple clients and keeping them happy with the work your team is doing.
Help manage, mentor, and build the London social team.
Work on pitches and other projects along with the wider team.
Be a key conduit between the social team and other teams, both within London and across LA, NY, and Tokyo offices.
