This Independent Creative agency is looking for someone with 8+ years of creative and strategic experience to lead and develop the strategy and planning function within the wider agency working across their global clients.

You’ll be a big thinker, not afraid to tackle tricky brand challenges, but down-to-earth with the drive to get great things done.
Knowledgeable of internet and youth culture (because you live it) but with the strategic planning foundations to transform trends into effective campaigns - taking cues from wider culture, rather than ad industry spiel.
This agency's clients and projects are rooted in Entertainment but varied across all platforms. So having a broad understanding of marketing, media and comms with the ability to be adaptable will be super useful as you develop immersive virtual performances.
Finally, you should be a very good writer and presenter, able to communicate complicated ideas and strategies simply.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop an approach to creative strategy that builds on their:- Ethos (creative at the heart of everything we do)- Mission (to create brands, campaigns and content that people genuinely like and want to share)- Social approach (fan-first) to create and implement a new strategy and planning framework for the agency.
- Be involved in clients and campaigns from brief to production; provide direction and strategic oversight to ensure activities remain tied to the overall strategy.
- Lead new briefs and pitches, collaborating with the Creative teams to develop the creative brief and overall strategic response.
- Work with and direct the Insights and Data Analyst.
- Evaluate existing insights tools and provide recommendations for future opportunities (main practises include: Social Listening, Social Audience Segmentation, Global Research, Panel and Language Analysis + bespoke research where necessary).
- Act as a key client contact within the agency, leading new business pitches and briefs and developing strategic client relationships to grow the business.
- Work with their PR agency to provide opinion and thought leadership pieces to trade publications, to build agency and your profile.
